  1. Adding a tab control to an Access form can help organize and simplify the user interface by grouping related controls on separate pages. Follow these steps to add a tab control to your form.

    1. Open the Form in Design View

    • In the Navigation Pane, right-click the form you want to modify and select Design View.

    2. Add a Tab Control

    • On the Design tab, in the Controls group, click the Tab Control tool.

    • Click on the form where you want to place the tab control. Access will add the tab control to your form.

    3. Move Existing Controls to a Tab Page

    • Select the controls you want to move to the tab page. Hold down the SHIFT key to select multiple controls.

    • On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Cut.

    • Click the label text on the tab that corresponds to the page where you want to place the controls. A selection box will appear on the tab page.

    • On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Paste. Access will place the controls on the tab page.

    4. Add Fields from Field List Task Pane

    • Select the tab page where you want to add fields.

    • On the Design tab, in the Tools group, click Add Existing Field.

    • Navigate to the table containing the fields you want to add and drag each field from the Field List task pane to the tab page.
