Tap Store in the top-right corner of the screen. Tap the Menu icon at the bottom of the screen. Tap App Updates. If an update is available, your game will appear in the App Updates menu. From there, users can right-click on a game and select the “Check for updates” option. To make sure that all your apps and games have the latest updates, open the Microsoft Store and select Get Updates. The steps are: Find a physical copy of the game version you desire. Check stores that sell pre-owned games. Insert disc and install that game version to your console. Optionally go offline to prevent any update prompts for that title. Assuming you get the discs, Xbox game reversion works perfectly.
