    1. Click anywhere inside the Table of Contents (TOC) in your Word document.

    2. Go to the References tab on the ribbon at the top of the screen.

    3. Click on Table of Contents and select Custom Table of Contents from the drop-down menu.

    4. In the Table of Contents window, check the box for Right align page numbers.

    5. Choose a Tab leader (e.g., dots, dashes, or none) to visually connect the headings to the page numbers.

    6. Click OK to save the changes.

    7. If prompted, click Yes to replace the existing Table of Contents.

    2. Press Ctrl + T to open the Paragraph settings or click the arrow in the Paragraph section on the Home tab.

    3. Click Tabs in the Paragraph settings window.

    4. Set a Tab stop position (e.g., 6 inches), choose Right alignment, and select a Leader style.

    5. Click Set and then OK to apply the changes.
